KME International S.A. is a transport and logistics services company focused on serving exporters, importers and international logistics' service providers. Our foundation is the result of the vision of 3 skilled professionals with a vast background in International logistics: shipping, land transportation, freight forwarding and supply chain management. The three partners Ken, Martín and Ernesto identify the supply chain improvement areas in different export and import markets where we can add value and build sustainable, long term business opportunities.

 
  KENNETH JOHNSON
Ken was born in 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri, USA and has lived for over 20 years in South and Central America. Ken has got a degree in Business Administration and has over 30 years expertise in shipping, logistics and ports management. Amongst other jobs, Ken worked as General Manager-Bay Area Region, General Manager of Sales in USA and Director of Pacific Services for the APM-Maersk group. He played a key role in the startup and development phases of the APM-Maersk Group in South and Central America having started, acquired and managed Shipping agencies, Trucking companies, logistics and distribution, port terminals, container yards and repair shops for the APM-Maersk Group in Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Mexico. He was also involved in port terminals and oil and gas exploration during his time as Projects Senior Vice-President for Maersk Central America Ltd. where he worked as advisor for APM-Maersk companies that were entering the Mexican market.
 
 
  MARTÍN PÉRSICO
Martin was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina in 1972. He holds a degree in Shipping Administration and Merchant Marine Deck Officer. He started his career in 1994 working for Platachart S.A. as Operations assistant, attending multipurpose vessels, then moved to sales for Baltic Shipping Company. From 1995 to 1996 worked in Agencia Marítima Robinson as sales executive for Ivaran Lines and Barbican Lines. From 1997 to 1999 he was sales executive for Sea Land Service Inc. With Maersk Line global takeover of Sea Land in 1999, as Maersk Sealand, Martín continued as Sales Executive specializing in the development of the Patagonia feeder service. In 2005 he was promoted to commercial Manager of Maersk Logistics Argentina perishable logistics. In 2008 he was promoted to Reefer Logistics Commercial Manager for Latin America in Maersk Logistics and Damco, moving to Panama. One year later he moved back to Buenos Aires, working until July 2010.
 
 
  ERNESTO LABORDE
Born in 1962 in Lomas de Zamora, Argentina. He began his career in Ferrocarriles Argentinos in 1983 to then serve as commercial Manager at Estin S.A. until 1998. He then moved to Lo Primo S.A. as Vicepresident until 2000, where he worked in Maritima Buenos Aires in commercial management. In 1994 he started at Maersk Argentina from until 1999, covering the position of sales manager of Maersk Line. In 1999 he was promoted as general manager of South America Trucking S.A. (Satsa), Maersk Logistics and container yards of Mar del Plata, Ushuaia, Puerto Madryn and Puerto Deseado. From 2003 he took over the position of General Manager of Triamsa Mexico, APM-Maersk trucking company subsidiary, where apart from directing company, designed its trucking operations management system. In 2009 after returning from Mexico Ernesto briefly held the Sales Manager position in Navytrans S.A. until July 2010.
